Most of what I know about real estate is local: home values, information about neighborhoods and school districts in Dane County, mortgage rates, those kinds of things. But sometimes I see something about houses around the country that I just find fascinating.
Recently, the folks at Curbed published a list of the most expensive homes in America. The most and least expensive homes on the list are actually on the same street - there’s a $120 million difference between them! Perhaps none too surprisingly, many are concentrated in the New York and Los Angeles metro areas, but neither city claims the current most expensive offering. Regardless of the location, these homes are mind blowing to say the least.
